Job Summary

This Is What You’ll Do
  • Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations (FDA approved SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP) to maintain the highest production standards.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and a positive donor experience in alignment with company values.
  • Stock and replenish supplies to meet production needs and sustain a clean, professional work environment.
  • Review and confirm donor identification and uphold donor confidentiality per SOPs.
  • Set up and prepare all equipment and disposable supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures; label units and samples accurately.
  • Execute venipunctures and plasma collection while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Operate automated plasmapheresis machines, respond to machine alarms and alerts, manage donor adverse events, and document exceptions.
  • Monitor donor conditions and employ techniques to ensure donor comfort, safety, and product quality.
  • Maintain proper ratios to ensure donor safety and product quality, disconnect donors, and manage disposal of biohazard waste and contaminated equipment per safety protocols.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly calibration and maintenance of automated plasmapheresis machines; remove or replace equipment from service as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including machine logs, and report all unsafe situations to management.
  • Drive training efficiencies to ensure timeliness and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot machine alarms/alerts and conduct routine QCs on equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
This Is What It Takes
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • At least 3 months of experience in a medical or healthcare environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Completed training documentation appropriate for duties, prior to performing duties independently.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, pull, or tug up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel.
  • Ability to use required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Occupational exposure to blood‑borne pathogens.
  • Ability to view a video display terminal < 18 inches away for extended periods.
  • Ability to enter an environment with a temperature of -40°C following SOPs.
  • Ability to perform precise tasks that require small motor skills, such as drawing blood for diagnostic tests.
  • Use of assistive devices if needed for mobility or communication.
  • Availability for daytime, evening, weekend, holiday, and extended shift work.
  • Use of a computer and other office equipment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to focus on tasks for extended periods.
  • Safe navigation of office environments, including stairs and elevators (if applicable).
  • Travel up to 20% by airplane or vehicle (if applicable).

Pay Transparency

Expected base pay range: $18.69 - $24.92 - $31.16 per hour. The final salary is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies, and other relevant factors.
