Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist 1 for a 5-month assignment in Gainesville, FL. Shift runs 5:30a–2:30p, Mon–Fri with rotating Saturday coverage in the Eastern region.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, ability to work independently, and flexibility for weekends/holidays/on-call overtime. Education includes a high school diploma; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Medical training or certification is preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; note state requirements for CA/NV/WA.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, error-free phlebotomy services in a fast-paced setting.
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Perform phlebotomy across pediatric and geriatric patient populations.
• Flexibility to cover weekends, holidays, on-call shifts and overtime as needed.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED. One( ) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
