Job Responsibilities

Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities of the Patient Service Center In-office Phlebotomy accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
The Phlebotomist has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general

Job Requirements

3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
Looking for a Phlebotomist with good experience who can draw blood from all patient age groups.
HSD/GED Required.
VA- Phlebotomy certification is needed.

Job Title: Phlebotomist III - Floater/ Mobile

Location: Norfolk VA 23502.

Duration: 3+ months (Possibilities of extension)

Shift: Monday-Friday- 8:00am to 5:00pm. / Weekend rotation may be requested.

Pay rate: $23.35/hr. to $25.70/hr. on W2 without any benefits.

Hrs/Wk: 40.
