Job Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities of the Patient Service Center In-office Phlebotomy accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general

Job Requirements

• 3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Looking for a Phlebotomist with good experience who can draw blood from all patient age groups.
• HSD/GED Required.
• VA- Phlebotomy certification is needed.

Job Title: Phlebotomist III - Floater/ Mobile

Location: Norfolk VA 23502.

Duration: 3+ months (Possibilities of extension)

Shift: Monday-Friday- 8:00am to 5:00pm. / Weekend rotation may be requested.

Pay rate: $23.35/hr. to $25.70/hr. on W2 without any benefits.

Hrs/Wk: 40.
