Job summary

Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist in Tulsa, OK. Under general supervision, you will collect, process, and label specimens from patients and support smooth patient flow.

We value accuracy and adherence to quality assurance, safety policies, and HIPAA compliance. A High School diploma is required; ASCP certification is desired, and phlebotomy experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ASCP certification highly desired, but not required.
• Minimum of two years phlebotomy experience required.
• Medical Assistant experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and label specimens from patients.

Under general supervision, is responsible for collection, processing, and labeling of specimens from patients. Phlebotomists follow quality assurance and safety policies and procedures, as well as HIPAA policies. Assists with patient flow as needed. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. ASCP certification highly desired, but not required. Minimum of two years of phlebotomy experience required. Medical Assistant experience a plus.
