Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification/licensure required or in process.
• California certification upon hire for Phlebotomy Technician.
• 6 CEU units every 2 years required by State regulations.

Phlebotomist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour, Day shifts.

Primary responsibility is to accurately identify patients, collect high quality blood specimens on inpatients, and deliver samples to the laboratory in a timely fashion.

Required Qualifications:

• Continuing Education Units; 6 units every 2 years.
• Phlebotomy courses from a California State approved School of Phlebotomy (see State Phlebotomy regulations).
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire, Or
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

Preferred Qualification:

• Laboratory, medical office, or hospital experience.
