Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Sandpoint, ID team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages, and support drug screens and related tests.

This role offers Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with occasional additional hours and Saturdays as needed. You will enter patient data accurately, participate in billing where required, and maintain meticulous logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency acceptable in lieu of work experience.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
