Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist for a 3-month assignment at a medical facility in Port Orange, FL 32127. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a pay range of $17.75/hr - $18.57/hr.

Key Details:

• Location: Port Orange, FL 32127
• Duration: 5+ months
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30 pm; alternate Saturdays 7-11 am
• Pay rate varies based on experience and education

Responsibilities:

• Draw blood samples safely and accurately, ensuring compliance
• Provide coverage across multiple locations and adapt to various roles
• Mentor and onboard new employees
• Collaborate with staff and communicate effectively with patients
• Manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)
• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• At least 3 years in a Patient Service Center or In-Office Phlebotomy setting
• Customer service experience preferred
• Keyboard and data entry skills
