Mass General Brigham’s Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization, Inc. is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our team in Pembroke, MA. The role involves obtaining quality blood samples, proper labeling, and maintaining HIPAA compliance; the schedule is 40 hours weekly, onsite at 15 Corporate Park Drive.

We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Work hours are 8:40 am to 5:10 pm, Monday - Friday, with rotating Saturdays at Weymouth location.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
  • Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
  • Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  • Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 15 Corporate Park Drive in Pembroke, MA from 8:40 am to 5:10 pm Monday - Friday. Includes rotating Saturdays in our Weymouth location (1/2 day every 4-6 weeks) with flexibility.
