Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System in the Kansas City area seeks a full-time phlebotomist to perform venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients in a clinic setting. You will provide clear instructions about lab testing collection procedures and testing requirements.

A basic life support (BLS) certification is required, and prior phlebotomy experience is preferred though not mandatory.

Job Description

Performs venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients. Provides educational instructions to patients regarding lab testing collection procedures and testing requirements. Works well with outside labs and has ability to communicate in a manner that promotes clinic and lab professionalism as well as comfortable phlebotomy. We have a team based approach to support Patient Centered Medical Home.

Position Hours: 40 hours per week during the period of Monday- Friday, 7:30am - 5pm within a clinic setting.

Previous Phlebotomy experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
