HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The Phlebotomist performs specimen collections and basic phlebotomy procedures for laboratory testing. This role maintains thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements and handles clerical duties to support efficient daily laboratory operations.

The position is in the Lab Core department, with a schedule of 36 hours per week, nights 7p-7a, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Certifications, Licenses and Registrations: Phlebotomy certificate or equivalent is preferred.

Job Summary

HSHS is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The Phlebotomist performs specimen collections and basic phlebotomy procedures appropriately for laboratory testing. This role understands and maintains thorough knowledge of test sample priorities and requirements. Responsible for clerical duties necessary to maintain high quality and efficient daily operations of the laboratory. Assists with clinical laboratory functions as needed.

Qualifications
