ENCOMPASS WELLNESS PLLC is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist. Work hours are 7:45 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday, collecting blood samples, taking vitals, and preparing/ documenting in the EMR. You will help identify health concerns and support patient well‑being.

Responsibilities include prioritizing urgent requests, handling patient information, and ensuring proper labeling and transport of samples to the lab. Previous phlebotomy experience preferred, with diploma favored.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our team. Hours would be from 7:45 am - 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will collect blood samples from patients, take vitals, room patients, and document in the EMR. This is a role that can make a significant impact on people’s lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency
• Collect patients’ personal information
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
• Phlebotomy diploma preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
• Strong computer and data entry skills
