Job summary

Labcorp in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, and enter patient information accurately.

The role requires a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays, opportunities for growth within Labcorp, and a comprehensive benefits package. A high school diploma and phlebotomy training or certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Boroklyn, NY.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00am – 12:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

• Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
