• Verify all test requisitions with computer labels to maintain accuracy.
• Explain procedures to patients courteously, assisting with specimen collections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by decontamination and recording maintenance.
• Follow OSHA and DEP safety regulations and protocols.
• Update and manage patient information with attention to detail.
• Assist with troubleshooting and training to improve workflow.
• Answer patient inquiries over the phone and provide laboratory results as needed.
• Attend required department trainings to stay up-to-date with best practices.
