Actalent is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist for a fully onsite role in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate performs blood draws, labels and processes specimens, and maintains accurate patient data while complying with all regulations.
Requirements include a valid phlebotomy certification, HS diploma, and 3 years of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced setting. Training is provided and benefits are offered.
We are seeking a skilled and certified Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, decontaminating, and updating patient information. The Phlebotomist will collect and store specimens according to established procedures and ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.
This position is for the 2nd shift, from 12 PM to 8:30 PM, in a doctor's office. The phlebotomist will handle around 5 patients per day and manage numerous samples. The candidate is expected to stand intermittently throughout the day and should have substantial experience working with geriatric patients. The position requires working independently, and the candidate will receive approximately 2 weeks of training.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
