Job summary

Elite Clinical Network in Northridge, CA, is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to support our clinical research team with specimen collection, processing, and documentation.

You will perform venipuncture, label and store samples, maintain accurate records, assist with participant visits, monitor supplies, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and GCP standards, while collaborating with study staff.

Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist in California.
• Experience in clinical or research settings preferred.
• Familiar with clinical trial protocols and sample handling procedures.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Willingness to cross-train for Clinical Research Coordinator responsibilities (a plus).

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to support our clinical research team in Northridge, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in the collection, processing, and handling of biological samples from study participants. Your work will directly support the success of clinical trials by ensuring timely and accurate specimen collection and documentation in accordance with study protocols and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood and other biological specimens from research participants according to study protocols
• Properly label, process, and store specimens for laboratory analysis or shipment to central labs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sample collection, handling and processing activities
• Assist clinical staff in preparing for participant visits and supporting visit procedures

• Adhere to all research protocols, HIPAA guidelines, and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) standards
• Collaborate with research coordinators and investigators to ensure smooth study operations

Qualifications

Pay

• $21-25/hr, depending upon qualifications met

Schedule

• 40-hour work weeks, Monday-Friday
