Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Phlebotomist for a potential position with The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Lisbon, OH. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 0600-1700, totaling 40 hours per week, in a secure health services department environment.

The incumbent will perform hematology labs, urinalysis, process provider orders, monitor temp logs, and uphold safety and QA standards while supporting MD communications and patient care within a

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Phlebotomist program that qualifies for state licensure/certification.
• Three letters of reference.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, TB skin test or chest radiography, and AHA CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability of sharps and secure needles in a locked cabinet.
• Maintain a safe, clean and secure work area at all times.
• Maintain labs performed and ensure information is sent to the MD.
• Perform hematology labs and urinalysis testing.
• Process lab orders from computer-based systems and perform appropriate testing.
• Monitor temperature logs.
• Perform weekly quality assurance maintenance.

Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources, a premier healthcare services provider, is seeking a dedicated civilian Phlebotomist for a potential opportunity at The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Lisbon, OH.

Hours of Performance: Monday to Friday, 0600-1700 (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accountability of sharps. Once the phlebotomist comes to thep harmacy, they will check out needls and maintain control of those needles in a locked cabinet. At the end of the day, any needles not utilized will be reutrned to the pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe, clean and secure work area at all times.
• maintain labs performed ensuring the information is sent to the MD.
• Perform hematology labs and urinalysis testing.
