Job summary

LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Jeffersonville, IN. This role involves performing blood collections, maintaining patient logs, and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification, and at least three months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Jeffersonville, IN. Work schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Conduct administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Three (3) months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.

• Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible for the 401(k) plan.
