Job summary

Grifols, S.A. is seeking a Phlebotomist in training to join our plasma donation centers. You will assist in donor suitability assessments, build rapport with donors, and ensure their comfort and privacy throughout the process.

The role involves operating plasmapheresis equipment, monitoring donor health, and properly handling all materials to maintain product quality. Training will be provided to develop essential phlebotomy skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work is performed in a plasma center, with exposure to biological fluids, potential infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F while working in a plasma freezer. Protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear are required. Tasks include standing for 6 to 8 hours per day, bending and twisting the neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day, frequent hand and foot movements, lifting up to 15 lbs with a maximum lift of 50 lbs, and maintaining hearing and color vision acuity. Instructions are typically provided orally or in writing; sensitive information must be relayed to diverse groups.
