Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Glendale, AZ. The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages, sample processing, and accurate data entry at a client office.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training. Preferred candidates have phlebotomy experience, especially in an OB-GYN setting, and strong customer service skills.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.
• Experience in an Obgyn setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Glendale, AZ at West Union Hills Drive, Glendale, AZ 85308.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, schedule will vary within the hours of 8:00 am - 6:30 pm and some Saturdays, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed

Job Responsibilities

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Client Office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
