Labcorp invites applicants for a Phlebotomist role in Gambrills, MD. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages and handle data entry with careful attention to patient information and billing where needed.

The position follows a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm schedule with every other Saturday 7:00am–11:00am, and includes eligibility for the PST incentive plan along with comprehensive benefits for eligible employees.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our teamin Gambrills, MD.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and every other Saturday 7:00am-11:00am

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirements

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Exceptional customer service

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

• Travel to additional sites as needed, reliable transportation

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

**Pay Range: $17.75 – $26.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
