The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $19.00–$29.00. The actual hiring rate depends on prior experience, education, responsibilities, location, performance, and other factors.

Physical demands include full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, and lifting up to 40 lbs. The job requires sitting or standing for extensive periods and handling laboratory equipment, glassware, and needles. Corrected vision, color perception, hearing within normal range, and legible handwriting are required. Employees regularly encounter direct contact with patients who may have exposure to blood/body fluids, chemotherapeutic agents, or transmissible infections.
