Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label and process specimens, and update patient information at our Delran, NJ site. This contract onsite role supports lab operations and patient care with strict adherence to procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in pediatrics or geriatrics in hospital/clinic settings and may possess phlebotomy certification. Onsite benefits and a comprehensive compensation package are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working with Pediatrics & geriatrics in Hospital / Clinic / Lab is Mandatory
• Phlebotomy certification is Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight and butterfly needles.
• Label specimens and centrifuge when required.
• Update patient information accurately in the records.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as needed.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Delran, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
