This is a full-time, on-site Phlebotomist role based in Houston, TX. The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood collection and other specimen collection procedures in accordance with established safety and quality standards. Daily tasks include greeting patients, verifying identity and test orders, properly labeling and handling specimens, and preparing samples for transport to the laboratory. The role involves maintaining a clean, organized work area, using appropriate infection control practices, and operating collection equipment and basic laboratory tools. The Phlebotomist will collaborate with clinical and laboratory staff, provide clear information to patients, and ensure a professional, compassionate experience for every individual served.
