Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Cypress, TX. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens, and provide friendly, accurate service to patients.

This role supports diverse age groups, requires a high school diploma, and may require certification. Prior Labcorp experience and 2+ years as a phlebotomist are preferred. Schedule Mon-Fri 8am-1pm with occasional Saturdays; travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training program from an accredited agency.
• 2+ years of phlebotomist experience (preferred).
• Current or prior Labcorp experience (preferred).
• Ability to pass a color vision test and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Part-time to join our team at a Patient Service Center located at 10242 Greenhouse Road Suite 1101 Cypress, TX 77433.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8am-1pm and rotating Saturdays; additional days and hours may be required

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Current or Prior Labcorp experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist Part-time to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
