Job summary

Labcorp in Commack, NY is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages, enter data accurately, and support billing and specimen processing.

This role requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, and the ability to travel to additional sites. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Commack, NY.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm and rotating Saturdays hours 7:00am – 12:00pm

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

• Pay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
