Job summary

Labcorp in Chino, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The position involves blood collection, specimen processing, and data entry at a busy outpatient site. Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime, located at 2555 Central Ave Suite AF, Chino, CA 91710.

The role requires a California CPT license and at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Bilingual Spanish/English and LabCorp experience are highly valued. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) and at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomist experience; LabCorp experience; bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, additional hours and rotating Saturdays may be required.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) 3 months or more of experience as phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist
• Current or Prior experience at LabCorp

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
• 1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
