Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect, label, and transport specimens for patients of all ages. You will ensure accurate documentation and collaborate with clinical teams to support efficient laboratory workflow.

Requirements include a high school diploma/ GED and phlebotomy training; BLS is preferred. Prior phlebotomy experience is desirable as part of a compassionate, patient-centered care team.

Qualifications

The Phlebotomist provides safe, accurate, and professional specimen collection services for patients of all ages, ranging from newborns to the elderly. This role is responsible for collecting, labeling, and transporting specimens while ensuring proper documentation, registration, and data entry for both inpatient and outpatient services. The Phlebotomist maintains cooperative interactions with patients, families, medical staff, and hospital departments while supporting efficient laboratory workflows and upholding the mission and values of the hospital. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
