Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking a motivated Phlebotomist to join our frontline healthcare team.

You will perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, collect and prepare specimens, and ensure accurate labeling and test ordering while maintaining strict safety and confidentiality. This part-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 9am to 12pm, 20 hours per week, with competitive benefits, PTO, holidays, and a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

Days: Monday - Friday

In this role, you will:

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
