Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist for Baltimore, MD. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections for diverse age groups, specimen preparation, and accurate data entry. The position supports multiple sites and requires excellent patient service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with rotating Saturdays. A high school diploma and 6 months+ phlebotomy experience are preferred. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work at Baltimore, MD.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM with rotating Saturday

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Pay Range: – $17.75 - $25.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
