Job summary

Labcorp in Arlington, TX seeks a Phlebotomist to join our client-facing team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across ages, enter patient data, and ensure proper handling of specimens.

This role requires a high school diploma; preferred candidates have 2+ years phlebotomy experience and familiarity with LabCorp processes. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend hours and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital environment preferred.
• 1+ year experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program is acceptable in lieu of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to various clinic sites.

LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Arlington, TX (76011)

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 5:00am to 2:00pm; Saturday or Sunday 5:00am - 9:00am (rotating as requested 1/month)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment

• 1 or more years' working in a behavioral health environment

• Current or prior LabCorp experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Be 21 years of age or older and have a clean driving record

• Access to reliable transportation

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment

• Exceptional customer service

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in our client's office setting. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PRO GRAM

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
