Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking an adjunct philosophy faculty member to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned courses. You will provide a syllabus aligned with course requirements and maintain attendance and grading records according to College policy.

The role requires availability to students outside class time, collaboration with the program coordinator when issues arise, and delivery of scheduled classes using Canvas and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Philosophy or equivalent
• 18 graduate hours in Philosophy if degree is in another field
• Experience teaching philosophy is preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes and provide course syllabi.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per College policy.
• Be available to students outside class time and use Canvas/PowerPoint to assist instruction.
