Job summary

Bryant & Stratton College’s Hampton Campus is seeking an Adjunct Professor to teach Philosophy (critical thinking, logic, reasoning, and ethics). The role includes coordinating internships, engaging students, and delivering classes across in-person, online, and blended formats. Regular communication with the Dean of Instruction is expected.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Philosophy and have 1–3 years of teaching experience. Compensation is provided per course under an adjunct contract.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Philosophy is required.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with the Dean of Instruction regularly.
• Teach Philosophy courses (critical thinking, logic, ethics).
• Instruct according to College policies and curricula.
• Prepare for class and engage students in activities.
• Coordinate internships and assist in site recruitment.
• Deliver day, evening, and weekend classes in various modalities.
• Maintain tech proficiency (Outlook, Teams, Blackboard).
• Submit beginning/end of term paperwork promptly.
