Job summary

National Council for Mental Wellbeing seeks a Development Coordinator to support donor engagement and fundraising across the organization. The role focuses on donor data and systems with growth into stewardship work as programs mature, reporting to senior leadership with polished communications.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, learns new systems quickly, manages multiple projects, and supports executive communications from day one. Remote-first with occasional travel to DC events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2-4 years in fundraising, donor relations, communications, nonprofit administration, database management, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive communications.
• Experience maintaining donor databases with high accuracy.
• Ability to learn and adapt across different systems and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM and fundraising platforms.
• Ensure data integrity through audits and quality control.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and donor insights for stewardship and decision-making.
• Support gift processing, donor segmentation, and record management.
• Partner with colleagues to improve data collection and workflows.
