The PhD Student in Quantum Materials and Devices will engage in full-time, on-site research and training at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. Day-to-day activities include designing and conducting experiments on quantum materials, characterizing device performance, analyzing data, and interpreting results in collaboration with faculty and research teams. The role involves reviewing current literature, developing and testing hypotheses, and contributing to the advancement of quantum device concepts and material platforms. The student will prepare research reports, manuscripts, and conference presentations, participate in group meetings and seminars, and support mentoring of junior students when appropriate.
