Job summary

NVIDIA invites Ph.D. students to join our 2027 internships in Research: Computer Architecture and Systems. You will work with world-leading teams to design novel GPU/CPU architectures, systems software, and AI-enabled workloads, delivering prototypes and publications that push the boundaries of computing.

This internship is for the full duration of your Ph.D. studies; applicants should be enrolled in a doctoral program, with strong publication records, and proficiency in C/C++, Python, and CUDA.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in a PhD program for full duration of internship.
• Anticipated graduation date must be indicated on resume to be considered.
• Strong programming and research experience in relevant areas.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement novel ideas in GPU/CPU architectures, systems architectures, operating systems, AI systems, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with other team members, teams, and external researchers.
• Transfer research to product groups to enable new products; deliver prototypes, patents, or publications.
