Job summary

Meta seeks Research Interns to join our efforts in building Personal Superintelligence within Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL). You will work across the full research-to-product stack—from user experiences and backend systems to data, evaluations, post-training, and deployment— applying frontier-model capabilities.

The internships run 12–16 or 24 weeks with multiple start dates. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Generative AI, or related field.
• Must have work authorization in the country of employment at time of hire.
• Experience with Python, C++, C, Java or related languages.
• Experience building ML/deep learning systems.
• Proven research track record (grants, fellowships, publications).
• Experience cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full research-to-product stack—from user experiences to deployment.
• Contribute to core algorithmic advances and scale ideas to production.
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate and validate models and systems.
