Job summary

NVIDIA AI in Durham, NC is seeking a PhD Research Intern to join the Circuits team. You will work on advanced circuit design to enable high-performance, low-power processors, designing and prototyping circuits and collaborating with researchers across product teams.

You are pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field, with deep knowledge of circuit design theory and practice and strong communication skills to share results across groups.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, CS/Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge and broad background of circuit design theory and practice.
• Depth in high-performance circuit design areas such as PLLs/clocking, SerDes/high-speed signaling, photonics, SRAMs, power delivery/regulation, security circuits, and high-speed logic, advanced packaging technologies, or thermal analysis/design.
• Track record of research excellence or significant product development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

We are now looking for a PhD Research Interns for our Circuits team. Advanced circuit design is critically important in the post-Moore’s Law age. Without the ability to scale process to increase performance and reduce power, we must rely more and more on creative architectural and underlying circuit solutions to provide continuing advancement from generation to generation.

NVIDIA Research is seeking world-class circuit researchers to contribute to the exploration of future high-performance, low-power circuit technologies and development of prototype circuits. If you have a strong circuits background, desire to collaborate with elite researchers on critical problems, and a vision about how to advance the state-of-the-art, the team will be a great fit for you. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. The hourly rate for our interns is 38 USD - 94 USD.
