Qualifications

• PhD in Economics required, with Finance and Mathematics background a plus.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, R, or other scripting languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail with big-picture understanding.
• Ability to work well in teams.

Responsibilities

• Working as a data detective to examine potentially fraudulent patterns.
• Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to identify opportunities to detect fraud and identify fraud detection methods.
• Building, cleaning, compiling and analyzing datasets to find insights and fraud patterns using econometrics, statistics and other forms of analyses.
• Building scripts, algorithms and code to process and analyze large datasets effectively and efficiently.
• Presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
