The project encompasses population ecology, community ecology and ecosystem ecology, and the PhD student will have freedom to design their own research program to fit in with the overall objectives of understanding the ecology of Mývatn. The fieldwork is conducted June-August by a team of researchers at Mývatn, including faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates.
