You will join a multidisciplinary team solving urgent, high-profile technical problems, with interests in laser hazard analysis and electrical failure analysis. You will contribute by performing optical/electrical analyses, interfacing with clients, drafting proposals, and developing new methodologies.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• Technical background in optics AND electronics is strongly desired: optics, lasers, LEDs; electronics, controls or circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering analyses and optical/electronics testing.
• Interact with clients to relay technical results and aid business development.
• Prepare technical proposals and supervise laboratory testing.
• Assess test results and testing protocols.
• Develop new testing protocols for new designs.
• Maintain data collection and reporting.
