Exponent in Chicago, IL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Mechanical Engineering Practice. You will work on challenging technical problems, perform field inspections, analysis, and synthesize results into reports and presentations.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, strong communication, experience with FEA (Abaqus) and MATLAB, familiarity with industry codes, willingness to travel, and intent to become a Licensed Professional Engineer; US work

Qualificações

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar with applied mechanics focus.
Excellent verbal and written communication to convey technical information.
Experience with finite element analysis (Abaqus) and MATLAB.
Knowledge of industry codes/standards is beneficial.
Willing to travel and develop leadership and project management skills.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
