Job summary

ExxonMobil invites PhD students to apply for summer internship and fall/spring co-op opportunities. Interns will work in one of our Houston-area facilities or select U.S.

locations, contributing to hands-on research and technical projects that drive real results. You will engage in advanced research, process engineering, modeling and optimization, and product development depending on placement and business needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a PhD in STEM disciplines with strong academic performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to advanced research initiatives and process engineering projects.
• Engage in modeling and optimization efforts across placement and business needs.
• Support product development and technology transfer activities as assigned.
• Tour facilities, learn from senior leaders, and network with professionals across ExxonMobil.
• Aim to secure return internships and future full-time opportunities through the Early Career Foundation program.
