Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biology, mathematics or another relevant discipline.
• Experience programming (R, Python, Julia or Mathematica) and/or constructing mathematical models.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Previous publications in peer‑reviewed journals are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• As a doctoral student, develop simulations or mathematical models to study evolution of animal behaviour.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to shape research questions and project directions.
• Publish work in peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Meet teaching requirement of 2.5 hours per week during the semester.
