Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City invites applications for a ten-week paid summer internship in the Economics Research division. The intern will work closely with a supervising economist on a research project in applied microeconomics, assisting with empirical analysis and developing a paper or extended abstract to present at the end of the summer.

Location is Kansas City, MO with on-site work and five remote days per month.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Economics completed; PhD students strongly preferred.
• Experience with empirical research methods and statistical software preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
