As a candidate, you have a PhD or are enrolled in a PhD program in a related field and can tackle open-ended problems with data-driven methods, machine learning, and engineering knowledge while collaborating with domain experts.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Preferred GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.0 scale) in current graduate program.
• Strong problem-solving, data analytics, and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Tackle diverse, open-ended problems using data-driven approaches.
• Collaborate with Dow teams to accelerate digital initiatives across functions.
• Develop and apply modeling, analytics, and software to support R&D and manufacturing improvements.
• Contribute to safety, sustainability, and supply chain optimization projects.
