Job summary

NVIDIA Research is seeking world-class PhD interns for our Circuits team to advance high-performance, low-power circuit technologies. This internship offers hands-on design in prototype systems and opportunities to transfer technology to product groups.

You will work on power delivery, PLLs and clocking, SerDes and high-speed signaling, and other advanced circuit areas in a collaborative environment with elite researchers. Intern benefits apply, with hourly pay.

Qualifications

  • PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering, CS/Engineering, or related field.
  • Power delivery research experience: PD control architectures, EMI mitigation, or low-failure-rate power design.
  • Excellent knowledge and broad background of circuit design.
  • Depth in high-performance circuit design areas (PLLs, SerDes, high-speed signaling, SRAMs, etc).
  • Track record of research excellence or significant product development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Explore circuit approaches to optimize processor compute, interconnect, power.
  • Design and implement circuit approaches in prototype systems.
  • Collaborate with researchers and product teams across research and product roles.
  • Transfer technology to product groups.
