Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, human biology, pharmacy, chemistry, or related field.
• Ability to think scientifically and conduct independent research.
• Strong understanding of biochemical, physiological, or pathophysiological processes.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop independent, hypothesis-driven research questions on cross-organ metabolic processes.
• Establish imaging mass spectrometry approaches for spatial metabolomics and spatial exposomics.
• Link molecular distribution patterns with tissue morphology, physiology, and pathophysiology.
• Integrate high-dimensional data to identify systemic relationships and generate new biological hypotheses.
• Prepare scientific publications as part of a cumulative PhD thesis.
