Job summary

Perry Homes in Texas seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee Phase II, from sheetrock through home completion, applying Perry Homes procedures and performing warranty service as required.

You will coordinate independent contractors, order materials, monitor quality and progress, and ensure overall standards while managing budgets and change orders. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires management or leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate with independent contractors and homeowners, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, blueprints, and development plans.
• Fundamental knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of Perry Homes policies and procedures applicable to construction personnel.

Acquire and apply the appropriate knowledge of Perry Homes construction procedures regarding the Phase II process (from sheetrock tape and float to home completion) and perform warranty service according to Company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires relevant management or leadership experience.

• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively and professionally with independent contractors and homeowners, both verbally and in writing. Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to complete tasks on short notice under extreme time constraints. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, reports, correspondence, blueprints, construction plans, plats and development plans.

• Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fundamental knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of all Perry Homes policies and procedures applicable to construction personnel and construction activities.
• Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Truck that complies with Perry Homes’ construction policies.
