The Cigna Group is seeking a Pharmacy Underwriting Development Program Senior Analyst located in one of several offices, including Morris Plains, NJ. The role combines finance, healthcare, data, and strategy to support pricing and underwriting for pharmacy benefits solutions.

Start date is January 25th, 2027. The program offers structured training, mentorship, and hands-on projects to develop PBM knowledge and professional skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Risk Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Finance.
• Internship in risk management, economics, or finance preferred.
• Comfort with Excel for analysis, reporting, modeling, or data-driven decisions.

Responsabilités

• Support pricing strategies for new and renewing business including RFPs and market checks.
• Analyze financial data to assess formulary, network, and specialty drug changes.
• Contribute to client proposals balancing competitiveness and financial risk.
• Assist with contracting and implementation to ensure pricing accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on compliant financial solutions.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning via financial trend analysis.
• Build PBM industry knowledge and strengthen analytical and communication skills.
