Job summary

Apotheco Pharmacy is seeking a full-time team member to support patient care at our New York location. You will process prescriptions, verify insurance, label products, and coordinate patient deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Strong customer service, excellent phone presence, and attention to detail are essential. Prior pharmacy experience is appreciated but not required; training is provided. Work location: NY 147 W. 35th Street.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required.
• One year of previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.
• Excellent phone presence and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to process prescriptions and insurance verification and maintain patient data.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person.
• Label and prepare products for patients.
• Process prescriptions using computer software.
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
• Coordinate patient deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
• Complete insurance verification for prescriptions.
• Apply manufacturers coupons when applicable.
• Bill and charge credit cards.
• Keep patient information up to date.

Most of our communication with patients is through the phone, so you must have anexcellent phone presence, including beingfriendly, professional, and well spoken.

Although we do not require pharmacy experience, it is appreciated!
